One of Ann Road Animal Hospital's most beloved employees, receptionist Dee Degraffenreid has always been a big hit with our clients and their pets. With all the wonderful comments and feedback we've gotten about Dee, we wanted to share a little bit more about her with all our clients and friends.
"I've been working here since 2007," Dee said. "My sister worked at Craig Road Animal Hospital as a receptionist, and she was the one that let me know Ann Road was looking for someone."
"It's been awesome working here," she added. "My bosses are great, all the doctors are great. The doctors are very thorough and they really care about their patients and the owners. Dr. Bullard is one of the best in town, he's a great boss and we all love him and his approach to his job."
Dee also said that she enjoys interacting with the clients that come to Ann Road Animal Hospital as well.
"The clients are fantastic, on the whole they're very thirsty for knowledge and are good about learning about their pet's health and how to keep them healthy. They're here to get their babies taken care of, so that's what we want to do for them and the feeling we want to give them."
Dee was born and raised in Sterling, Illinois with her twin sister Deonna. Dee moved to Las Vegas 13 years ago before becoming a receptionist at Ann Road Animal Hospital. Overall, she said she couldn't be happier working here.
"Ann Road is a really good place for me since I'm such a people person," Dee said. "I love to talk to people and they allow me to be a part of their lives, it's really wonderful. I like to make our clients feel like they're at home when they're at Ann Road, and that they're being taken care of. I think that's what people respond to most."
Outside of work, Dee enjoys singing, dancing and the company of her two daughters, two grandkids, and her beloved dog Bre, a Shih Tzu.
