C. John Bullard, DVM

Dr. Bullard was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. He first decided to go into the veterinary field as a child, after the loss of a favorite pet. He graduated from Tuskegee University in Alabama, where he earned his degree in Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. His special interest within the field is in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. He has been lead doctor at Ann Road Hospital since it first opened its doors in September 2005. 

Ismael Betancourt, DVM

Dr. Betancourt was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He then moved to the United States to pursue his passion for animals. He attended Tuskegee University where he completed his studies in Veterinary Medicine in the year 2016. Dr. Betancourt's passion for animals came at the young age of 5, where he had a variety of animals throughout the years. Dr. Betancourt currently owns two dogs. Nala a miniature schnauzer and Bruno a mix breed. Dr. Betancourt enjoys playing pool, swimming, and cooking in his free time. 

Courtney Williams, DVM

Home Town: Pomona, CA

Veterinary School: Tuskegee University 2018

Dr. Williams enjoy hiking, socializing and seeing her family, and she loves watching comedy and sci-fi films. She has two cats (Garbage and Kitten) and is interested in all fields of veterinary medicine. 

Harmanjeet Batth Singh, DVM

Dr. Singh received his Bachelor of Science (Honors) with focus on Biological Science from a Canadian University and pursued his life-long love of medicine one step further by attending the St. Matthews University in Cayman Island, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.  

Dr. Singh is passionate about preventive medication, animal surgery, and orthopedics and also enjoys the great company of knowledgeable doctors at Ann Road. Dr. Singh is driven by the fulfillment of helping animals, motivated to be a continuous learner and helpful to ensure the long-lasting bond between the pets and their partners whom he cares for at Ann Road Animal Hospital.  

Mary Jordan, DVM

Dr. Jordan was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She has always loved animals and decided that she wanted to become a veterinarian from the very first time that she was asked what she wanted to do. Dr. Jordan played softball at Langston University, where she earned her BS in biology.

She then attended Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her DVM. Her favorite animals are cats and her special interest within the field is in behavior. Dr. Jordan currently owns one cat named Mitten, but is looking to add a dog to her family in the near future.

In her free time, Dr. Jordan enjoys working out, watching movies, spending time with her family and friends, reading, writing, playing video games and hanging out with her own animals. She hopes to improve the lives of her clients by taking care of their beloved furry friends.

Gizelle Peynado, DVM

Dr Peynado was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. She knew at a very young age she was destined to help animals. She moved to the United states in 2012 to pursue her life long dream of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated from Tuskegee University in 2019 and furthered her studies by completing a 1 year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Coral Springs Animal hospital before moving to Las Vegas. Her interests include internal medicine, emergency and critical care, oncology and surgery. She has a passion for all animals but has a special love for dogs and cats. She has a toy poodle named Mia. In her spare time, she enjoys anything involving a body of water. And when she’s not outside, she’s inside cuddled up binge watching old episodes of Grey's Anatomy.

Karissa Georges, DVM

Dr. Georges was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. For as long as she can remember, Dr. Bullard has been her family veterinarian and has played a pivotal role in her journey to becoming a DVM.

Two years into her undergraduate studies at The University of San Diego, Dr. Georges became inspired to pursue veterinary medicine. She moved back to Las Vegas and began working at Ann Road Animal Hospital to gain clinical experience. She began as a kennel technician and later became a veterinary assistant. She graduated from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BS in biological sciences.

Dr. Georges then moved to St. Kitts to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she met her fiancé and earned her DVM, graduating with honors. The couple now owns three dogs, one cat, one guinea pig, and two chinchillas. In her free time, Dr. Georges enjoys working out, trying new foods, and binge-watching Survivor and Friends. Her special interest in the veterinary field is surgery.
